The Full Tilt Poker Pro Era: Sponsored Pages, Tips and News Feeds
Between 2005 and 2008 a generation of poker pros got an official home on the web: a sponsored page on a shared engine, with news, tips, a gallery and links. Robert Mizrachi's site is one of those pages, and its structure tells the story of the Full Tilt Poker era. Every pro page carried the same rooms: a news feed, a lessons column and a photo gallery.
The content model was simple and effective. News items announced results as they happened, tips rotated lessons from the team and invited pros, and the links page connected the whole roster. Players could follow a pro the way they followed a club.
- Sponsored player pages on a shared site engine.
- News feeds turning results into stories within days.
- Weekly strategy lessons from team members and guests.
- Galleries and links pages binding the roster together.
| Room of the pro page | What it carried |
|---|---|
| News | Result announcements, bracelet wins, big cashes |
| Tips | Strategy lessons by the pro and guest authors |
| Gallery | Tournament and travel photos |
| Links | Team mates' official sites and poker resources |
The era ended when the room itself disappeared, but the archived pages survive as a record of how poker media worked before social feeds. This site preserves that record: the verbatim news list, the tips column and the original layout of the pro page.
