Robert Mizrachi Career Overview: From Florida to the Big One
Robert Mizrachi built his reputation the slow way: one tournament at a time, from a first win in London to a World Series of Poker bracelet in Las Vegas. He grew up in Florida as the eldest of the four Mizrachi brothers, and poker became the family trade. This overview follows the record preserved on his official website.
His first tournament win came at the Victoria Casino in London, nearly a decade before his bracelet year. He knew immediately the game was for him, but it took six additional years to convince the rest of the world. The breakthrough run began in Atlantic City in 2003.
- Second place in the 2003 $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em event in Atlantic City.
- Winner of the No-Limit Hold'em event at the Master Classics of Poker in Amsterdam.

- First and second in two events at the 2006 Five-Star World Poker Classic.
